Looking at nail polishes on Pinterest makes us sad. (If only we could afford to buy every nail polish color on Earth! Sigh.) It’s hard to go through all these images of nail colors and not know where to get them. And when you’re at the stores, out of the whole shelf of colors, what actually looks good and what doesn’t?
Buying nail colors can be a hard choice. When you look at the bottles, it could come out quite different from what you’re actually getting.
We have therefore made a compilation of our favorite colors and swatches for you girls to check out! It doesn’t matter whether you’re in the mood for light pastel colors or if you’re in a devilish red mood… we’ve got it all for this fall.
1. Essie Marshmallow
This marshmallow white is so cute. The nail makes me want to chew my nails (uh oh).
2. OPI’s Every Month Is Oktoberfest
We think this OPI nail lacquer is simply gorgeous. You’d have to get a top coat to get the shine but the nails are venomous.
3. Essie’s No Place Like Chrome
We’re suckers for chrome and metallic. It’s not as hard to fall into a winter funk with these nails.
4. China Glaze’s Highlight of My Summer
Weep and pretend that summer is still here with this minty green from China Glaze!
5. Essie’s Mint Candy Apple
Everyone’s probably heard of this, but Essie’s Mint Candy Apple is so so cute and matches the pale blue sky of winter.
6. Zoya’s Electric
This is an amazing electric color. It comes in a matte finish too, so you don’t need a matte top coat!
7. Essie’s Punchy Pink
These nails are girly and feisty. Don’t mess. In the summer they look hot with dark skin colors, but in the winter they bring life to pale skin colors.
8. OPI’s Mod About You
This color is to die for in spring, summer, and autumn. The perfect shade of pink.
9. OPI’s All I Want For Christmas (is OPI)
The femme fatale red is back in style. It goes gorgeously well with Louboutin shoes (please buy me a pair).
10. Deborah Lippmann’s Wicked Game
This color is all shades of beautiful! It’s so ephemeral and fairy-like. We love it.
11 & 12. Mavala Blue Mint & Deborah Lippmann Glitter In The Air
We cheated a bit with this, but the two colors go together so well. The blue mint from Mavala and the Glitter from Debora Lippmann makes a perfect combination of something that resembles… cotton candy.
13. Julep’s Blake
The pale yellow will be reminders of the fading of the light through fall.
14. MAC’s Bad Fairy Nail Lacquer
This color is pixy-like and so gorgeous, like the fallen leaves.
15. OPI’s Roadhouse Blues
Here’s something dark and menacing. More winter-like, but we don’t really care. It’s strong for strong woman like you!
