Sorry to say, but those things you see in the movies aren’t real.
Haven’t you ever wondered how movies were really filmed or what it looked like while they were filming it? How about all those cool action scenes where they’re in a submarine and a missile blows them up? How did they do those things?
Okay, those questions probably don’t pop through your mind when you’re watching a movie. Movies are meant to be an completely immersive experience, especially since with everything technology has going on with CGI and those blue/green screens you always see in the bloopers. Only when something particular happens in a movie, or when you’re done, does a thought probably pop up.
How far do they go with CGI?
The results are pretty shocking. You’ve probably already seen the example with The Wolf Of Wallstreet, but have you checked out these yet?
The Chronicles Of Narnia
The Life Of Pi
The Monuments Men
300: Rise Of An Empire
A Good Day To Die Hard
What do you think of these before and afters?
