Lemon & Dill Salmon
What You’ll Need:
- 1 1/2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 Lemon
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 1-2 cloves of garlic
Step 1.Prep Your Oven
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Step 2.Prepare the Marinade
Finely chop your garlic and dill.
Tip: To get the scent of garlic off your hands, run your hands over a stainless steel object (like a spoon) while under running water.
Step 3.Mix it All Up
In a bowl, combine garlic, 3/4 of the dill, half of the juice from the lemon, and black pepper.
Step 4. Flavor the Salmon
Drizzle the marinade all over the salmon. Let it sit for at least 15 minutes. Put in the oven and bake for 12 minutes if it’s just small fillets. If it is a big piece like the one shown above, bake for 30-35 minutes, or until you see white forming on the top.
The general rule is for every 2.5 cm of thickness, add 10 minutes to the cooking time.
Step 5.Prepare the Garnish
In a small bowl, mix Greek yogurt, the remaining dill, and half a tablespoon of lemon juice. Stir the mixture so the sauce is well blended. Set it aside.
Step 6. Put it All Together!
When the salmon is finished baking, put the Greek yogurt sauce on top and garnish with a bit of dill.
