Moscow Artist Dasha Kond (with her real name being Darya Kondratyeva ) is a photographer from Russia. She has recently sparked the internet with her photos of her models being with real animals. Her entire “Merida” collection (from Brave) is of the Russian cosplayer, Tina Rybakova, beside a real live brown bear. She also has a series of “Hera and the Harp”, “Little Red Riding Hood”, and “Red Sonja”.
We are in awe of her captivating photos that require a lot of patience and skill in order to pull off. Know the feeling when you’re trying to get your 2 year old brother or child to try and take a family photo? It’s probably 100x worse. Try having a peacock perch on your shoulder, or have a brown bear pose right beside your face to have a kiss. If I was the model, I would be worried about having my face getting chewed by a full 300 pound bear. Okay, just kidding (kinda).
Her style of photography is very similar to Katerina Plotnikova, who has sparked virality on the internet a few months back. All her other photos she takes are for babies, pregnancies, families, and weddings. This is a very special form of photography, which she has labeled “Miracle”. Combined with all the other styles of photography, this is taken us a bit by surprise as it blends in very inconspicuously with everything else on her website.
Would you take these photos in any circumstances?
