The best TV shows to keep you entertained when the seasons start to change.

When the weather starts to turn colder, and you start spending more time indoors, you will probably find yourself scouring the channels for the best new TV shows.  We’ve rounded up the best new TV shows that have debuted in recent years that you may not have heard of.  You may have to catch up on a season or two, but the binge-watching won’t go any further than that! There is something so nice about coming home from work and looking forward to watching a show with your significant other.  One that you have to watch at a certain time each night; one that your significant other can’t sneak behind your back and watch before you.

Don’t get us wrong- we also appreciate a series that can be binge-watched in 3 weeks.  But not everyone has time for that! So here are our picks for the hottest new TV shows for fall/winter 2014.

Bates Motel (2013) Have you ever seen Alfred Hitchcock’s horror-thriller Psycho? This is the background story of Norman Bates.  Detailing the intricate relationship that Norman had with his mother.  We see the domination the mother has over Norman as he runs the motel.  The plot is full of twists and turns, each episode ends with a cliff hanger that keeps you pining for the next episode.  The cast is filled with up & comers, such as Vera Farmiga, Freddie Highmore, and Max Theriot. Check it out, but I highly recommend watching with a friend, because it is definitely a horror!
