Have you ever wondered what song you were (probably) conceived to? Well wonder no more! Porktrack is here to tell you. We’ve been busy exploring far and wide every section of the internet to find out all the weirdest/strangest sites and we found this hidden gem.
Besides the obvious questions, Porktrack is a website, built on a system which tells you what songs were trending back when your parents were getting down and busy. It’s pretty simple to use:
- Choose a genre (Hot 100, Country, and Latin)
- Enter your birth date
- And add on if you have a particular birth (were you born early? late?)
And it will bring you up a song of what was popular back in the days of when your parents were your age. Yep. It’s a pretty cool system that works by analyzing the top hits of the week which you were probably conceived (40 weeks before you were born).
It’s also a great way to check out new songs, or discover what music was actually popular back in the day. Use it how you will. If you have any critique for it, you obviously don’t have a sense of humour (please don’t get mad). We thought we’d share this wonderful, delightful site for everyone’s enjoyment.
Apparently some people have reported that Porktrack has surprised them more than they can imagine.
The owners of Porktrack are actually planning on making an app for this as well. Will you be interested?
What song were you conceived to (according to Porktrack)?
