Wang-sanity is Back With the Alexander Wang Denim Line

Wang-sanity is Back With the Alexander Wang Denim Line

If you thought that the Wang-sanity was over, think again. In preparation for today’s launch of the brand’s new denim line, yesterday their contribution to Instagram was an oiled up shot of a body (shot by Steven Klein), clad in low hung jeans with a hand in a vaguely suggestive position. Sex definitely still sells as the photo garnered over 9k+ likes within less than 4 hours. Are you ready to get yourself into a pair of Alexander Wang Denim? Or better yet, out of a pair? Afterall, Alexander Wang’s got it right, clothes were meant to be taken off anyways.

Ever since his collaboration with H&M sold out within hours of release, criticism has been abound with an unusual aesthetic that Alexander Wang chose to take. He’s best known for his casual model-off-duty style of a t-shirt, jeans, a biker jacket and messy hair, and when his collaboration with the prominent mass-market clothing label turned out to be more sporty-chic, his loyal legion of fans were disappointed. Some cried outrage at the difference in style and that Wang was selling out to the masses.

Well, for those who crave and covet his earlier style, you can now completely deck yourself out in head to toe Wang gear with a pair of jeans from the Alexander Wang Denim range. Hopefully there’ll be a pair of black, distressed, low-rise skinny jeans in the foray to complete the requisite model-off-duty look that we’re all used to and covet. I however, would love for a pair of perfectly hung boyfriend jeans that don’t leave too much a crop drop while sitting snugly on the hips at the same time. Is that too much to ask?
