Narces provided for a beautifully put together show. Their Spring 2015 collection featured a pastel palette of dresses suitable for almost every occasion you could think of. Whether it be for a prom, dinner gala, red carpet event or a summer party, Narces catered to every need. Playing upon every possible imagined texture (tulle, gauze, silk, embroidered), the feminine and flirty silhouettes accentuated the models’ curves without being too revealing. Narces seemed to enjoy playing around a lot with the fit flare silhouette as we saw a lot of flared dresses that flowed nicely from the waist down. None were too fluffy or too droopy as each and every single one was perfectly constructed.

We had the chance of going backstage to interview the designer herself who shared with us that the inspiration behind her collection was based around Victorian bird cages. We can definitely see the influence that the bird cages had on her designs as all were very girly, feminine and dainty. The conception of Narces was also a very trial and error based process, as although the collection itself was large, many of the designs didn’t make it to the runway this season.
Narces’ S/S 2015 Collection
We also loved the revival of the lady-like bell sleeves on several of the pieces that had us reminsicent of Disney princesses from our childhood. If you’re in need of a princess costume fit for a modern woman, then Narces is the way to go. You can be sure that we’ll be rocking out one of these numbers at the next function we attend.
The beautiful color choices took us away to a fairy tale wonder and had us thinking that the designer had replaced the models with ethereal fairies instead.
We absolutely loved how Narces’ collection swept us away into a whimsical land of pastels and flared dresses and congratulate the designer on collection that was very well done. You’ll definitely be seeing some of these pieces making their way into our closets as soon as they’re available!
