It’s happening, it’s really happening. Just in time for the holidays, American Eagle Outfitters has recently launched a new line in response to the overwhelmingly positive response from their April Fools’ prank – American Beagle Outfitters. They had claimed that they would be donating $1 from every American Beagle Outfitters sale to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. All orders from the American Eagle Outfitters website that included a purchase from their Beagle counterpart would also receive 20% off. What first started out as a joke, ended up backfiring on them when people actually wanted to purchase the designs for their dogs. And thus American Beagle Outfitters was born (however there doesn’t appear to be any donation or discount component involved yet).
